Dark One

I stood beneath the blackened trees staring at the widened yellow moon with thick tears streaming down my pallid face. The trembling of my frail frame the symptoms of your ever approaching silhouette. My fear hidden beneath the mask of rage.Your artic arms encircling my wavering waist.Locking me in place for the torment that lay in store.Sickened to the core by your existence, I fight the hold you have on me.Black nails scraping at white flesh.Freedom obtained.I stumble forward into the darkness. My sore soles hitting the warm moist earth at top speed. You trail behind me like the hounds of hell nipping hot at my heels.Long shimmering wingspan of black spread out like a gallant eagles.Perceived to be angelic yet demonic be the truth. My heart races as sweat glistens on my skin like a thousand diamond facets.Lush auburn hair cascading down my back like an endless waterfall blowing in the cool autumn wind.Your silken robe catching in the breeze as your kilt sways with time.Ghost white main framing your determined face.Like a fox pursued by the cruelty of the hunter I run as far as my legs will carry me……………………………In this moment….our eyes meet as i run no more……………………………..then
